Welcome to the weServed™ FAQ page. Here, you’ll find answers to common questions about our platform, designed to serve UK Veterans and their families. We’re constantly improving based on your feedback to help make the UK the best country in the world to be a Veteran!
1. I am having access issues_
- Please make sure the mobile or desktop operating systems are up to date.
- Use a well known browser – Chrome, Safari, Firefox.
- Ensure you have a working internet connection.
- Follow the prompts in the platform for specific email/ password/ sign-in issues.
2. Do I need service documents to become a member?_
- Yes - We need to verify that every Veteran who joins are who they say they are.
- If you do not have your service records, please use one of the following methods to obtain them:
- Preferred - Apply for Veterans ID (UK Gov.)
- Pre-1 Apr 2007 Leavers (UK Gov.)
- If you discharged from the Army after 01 April 2007 you should contact the Service Leaver's Pack team on 0800 085 3600 option 4 or dbs-jpac@dbspv.mod.uk and request your "Certificate of Service" (Discharge papers).
- To enable our community to be For Veterans by Veterans, we ensure this through the verification process.
- This process also allows us to pass on the best offers on the market to you and your family.
3. How Do I Validate/Verify My Account?_
- Check your registered email inbox and click the verification link sent by weServed™.
4. Not Received Confirmation Email_
- Check the correct email account (the one you registered with).
- Look in your Junk/Spam folders.
- Allow up to 15 minutes for the email to arrive.
5. How Do I Reset My Password?_
- Go to ‘Settings’, bottom right of the navigation bar.
- ‘Info’ – and change your password
- Check your registered email inbox and click the verification link sent by weServed™.
6. Do I Have to Pay for This Service?_
- The weServed™ platform is free!
- Some subscription services are offered by our partners.
7. Is This Service Available to All Veterans?_
- Yes - including Royal Navy (Royal Marines), British Army, and Royal Air Force.
8. Is This Service Available to All Veterans family members?_
- Yes – direct family members can access all of the same benefits as you if they are over 16.
- There is also a process to join if you are a bereaved family member.
- Some subscription services only need the Veteran to subscribe and all family members will be covered too.
9. Can This Service Be Accessed from Abroad?_
- Yes - you can access weServed™ services internationally.
10. Is My Data Secure?_
- Yes – we have used Hexiosec – who ensure many businesses that work with the UK Gov on TOP SECRET projects are secure - to audit our systems to ensure we have the required security standard.
