Veterans Supporting Veterans

Every veteran has a story. Some face homelessness, isolation, or crisis. Squaddie Box provides a secure address, trusted support and a pathway back to stability, dignity and hope.

Veterans Supporting Veterans

Born From One Veteran's Struggle

Secure postal address
Reconnect with vital services
Access housing and benefits
Employment and training support
Veteran-to-veteran assistance
Prevention before crisis

Squaddie Box was born after helping a homeless veteran navigate a complex system that should have been supporting him.

What should have been straightforward became a lengthy and frustrating journey involving benefits, healthcare, housing and identity verification. It became clear there had to be a better way.

Today, Squaddie Box provides a secure address and access point into a growing network of support designed to reconnect veterans with the services they need before they reach crisis point.

What Is Squaddie Box?

Squaddie Box is much more than a mailbox. It is a practical intervention that helps veterans overcome one of the biggest barriers to rebuilding their lives – having a secure, recognised address.

Without an address, many veterans struggle to access healthcare, housing, benefits, banking services, employment opportunities and vital support programmes. Each Squaddie Box provides a secure postal address alongside access to local support networks, charities, councils, healthcare providers and employment services.

Our mission is simple: prevent veterans from falling through the cracks. By creating trusted access points within communities, we help veterans reconnect with services, regain independence and rebuild their futures. Every box represents dignity, stability and a route back into society.

Veterans Think DifferentlyMany veterans possess exceptional problem-solving abilities, resilience and determination. Many are also neurodivergent. At Squaddie Box, we believe conditions such as ADHD, Dyslexia and Autism can be strengths when understood and supported correctly.

We work to help veterans recognise their abilities, build confidence and unlock opportunities that allow them to thrive in civilian life. Through education, training and advocacy we are helping change the conversation from disability to capability.

The Veteran JourneyA Squaddie Box is often the first step in helping a veteran move from uncertainty to stability. By creating a trusted point of contact, we help individuals reconnect with the services and support they need to move forward.
